Butterscotch is a natural, warm, whiskey-colored (hey, scotch is in the name) hair dye that’s increasingly popular with people who want to cover up gray hairs. Butterscotch is a versatile color that leans more towards the lighter side of the color spectrum as well, giving you multiple wear options.
On the furthest side of the light spectrum is light auburn. Light auburn looks exactly as its name implies: a light auburn. This hair color is basically the antithesis of gray hairs, and can be worn in unique, eye-catching styles.
Golden brown shares a lot of its color character with butterscotch, but leans heavily towards darker shades of aged-honey-brown interlaced with threads of gold. Ash brown is a very common color dye used when treating gray hairs, as it is intentionally lighter in color than other hair styles, while still having enough complexity and color depth so as not to draw attention to graying hairs. What you end up with is lightly browned hair flecked with silver, making your gray hairs practically invisible!
